OH MY GOSH! It has been an eternity since I posted anything. School and Nutcracker and Holidays and Exams have consumed me and my computer was misbehaving. so here I finally get to post with some nice Christmas stuff.


Cecilia was throwing up yesterday with a high high fever - but she made do this morning with her chipper smile and happy dances. Thank goodness no one else is exhibiting the same behavior.

We woke up to about 10 inches of fresh new snow- GREAT! And it isn't a blizzard! THank god no more snow is blowing around. It is SNOWMAN and SLEDDING weather!

Here is a short video of Mason's deer hunting story. It was a VERY VERY VERY long story. Very funny, but he was whispering the details for part of it and running around chasing things for the other part so, this is what you get.

the tongue

Ok - Little Cecilia has always had weird tongue things. Currently, she flips it sideways in her mouth. I said to Neil that I think she got that from me and he said, "she does this?" and he proceeded to stick his tongue straight out, but in a really awkward way. Yes, she got this from me..... It is a long video, 'cause she is just so cute. I hope you can make out her tongue flip, I think she does it twice... the first time after the first sneeze.




Cecilia also LOVES to play peek-a-boo with her clothing after she is done eating. She is working on feeding herself black beans and green beans and avocado and toast and crackers and everything else all over her is because I am messy, I guess!

rebecca's visit

Because I am a bit on the ignorant side I went to Stace's wedding WITHOUT my camera! I got to hang out with Amanda COnnor and Rebec and her son Max WITHOUT MY CAMERA! Rebecca and Max did get to see us quite a bit, but I couldn't find the good camera - sorry these are a bit fuzzy. By the way, Mason LOVED Max.

Ok - she has randomly stuck out her tongue, but all the time.................?

This is Mason and Firefly - instant friends. We spent half the day at Diane's playing with her 4 miniature horses and petting her 4 big horses and loving her new blind and deaf rescue dogs.... not to mention her 4 regular dogs, 2 or 3 cats and a bizzillion chickens..... and we saw some deer walking thru - what fun!

Cecilia stands on her own....
No matter where I look, she is upright! And she isn't happy unless she is upright! Try putting a diaper on her and then, I have to dress her wiggling and standing up. No easy task.

She is getting a little heavy for this but she is still having fun in it. I am gonna have to switch her to my back very soon.

Last week we went to the dr for Mason's four year check up and cecilia's 6 month check up. Both kids are nearly off the growth charts. Mason is a square 42 inches tall and 44 lbs and Cecilia is a whopping 19 lbs 11ozs and 27.5 inches long!! We couldn't keep her body on the scale while we were trying to weigh her. She was resting her long legs on the cart where the scale sat. Then, when the nurse saw Cecilia stand up leaning on her car seat, she nearly dropped her equipment.
