She is getting a little heavy for this but she is still having fun in it. I am gonna have to switch her to my back very soon.

Last week we went to the dr for Mason's four year check up and cecilia's 6 month check up. Both kids are nearly off the growth charts. Mason is a square 42 inches tall and 44 lbs and Cecilia is a whopping 19 lbs 11ozs and 27.5 inches long!! We couldn't keep her body on the scale while we were trying to weigh her. She was resting her long legs on the cart where the scale sat. Then, when the nurse saw Cecilia stand up leaning on her car seat, she nearly dropped her equipment.

Firsts

This has been a summer of firsts for our family- mason's first skateboard for his first graduation present

Mason's (and Mommy's) first float down the river. By the way, that is Esme. The girl, he says, he will one day take to WV to marry, when he gets big, of course.

Then, we all watched, during the span of a couple of weeks, Cecilia go from stationary baby, to sitting baby, to crawler, to standing baby. I couldn't believe all the stages that came back to back. I thought each one was a fluke, until she repeatedly performed each feat, surprising us all.
